The webmaster of Chikungunya Virus Net, D.A. Bleijs, PhD, has a scientific background in molecular biology and immunology. Since several years, he is involved as a policy officer in the clinical trial assessment procedure in the Netherlands. The webmaster is also owner and creator of Gene Therapy Net, Dengue Virus Net, Ebola Virus Net, Zika Virus Net, Corona Virus Net and Influenza Virus Net. Chikungunya Virus Net is a non-governmental, personal initiative and is aimed to provide comprehensive and accurate information about chikungunya.
